A two-member team led by FR Felix Raj, Principal of ST Xavier’s College, Kolkata, India called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today November 12, 2015 at the latter’s office of the university. Other team member was Firdausul Hasan, Secretary of ST Xavier’s College Alumni Association.

During the meeting they discussed various issues including undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs by the University of Dhaka and ST Xavier’s College, India. They stressed the need for exchange of more teachers, researchers and students between the two institutions. They agreed to organize joint programs to observe International Mother Language Day at Kolkata every year.
