American Alumni Association (AAA) and EducationUSA from the U.S. Embassy Host Information Session at University of Dhaka
Dhaka, September 24, 2025 – The American Alumni Association (AAA), in collaboration with EducationUSA from the U.S. Embassy, successfully hosted an information session organized by the Faculty of Engineering and Technology (FoET) at the University of Dhaka. The event drew the participation of more than 70 enthusiastic graduate and undergraduate students eager to learn about higher education opportunities in the United States.
The session, held at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering auditorium, focused on demystifying the U.S. university admissions process and guiding students through standardized testing requirements such as GRE, TOEFL, and IELTS. Students were introduced to the structure and purpose of these exams, the registration process, and effective preparation strategies.
In addition, EducationUSA advisors presented the “Five Steps to U.S. Study,” a comprehensive framework designed to help international students successfully plan their academic journey in the United States.
EducationUSA, a U.S. Department of State network, operates more than 430 international student advising centers across 175 countries and territories. The program is dedicated to providing accurate, comprehensive, and current information about studying in the United States.
The American Alumni Association (AAA), an association of Bangladeshi graduates from American universities, fosters professional and educational exchange as well as fellowship among U.S. graduates in Bangladesh.
The event concluded with an engaging question-and-answer session, reflecting the high level of interest among participants. Both AAA and EducationUSA expressed their commitment to continue supporting Bangladeshi students in pursuing higher education in the U.S.

ঢাকা, ২৪ সেপ্টেম্বর ২০২৫ – আমেরিকান অ্যালামনাই অ্যাসোসিয়েশন (AAA) মার্কিন দূতাবাসের EducationUSA এর সহযোগিতায় ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং এবং টেকনোলজি অনুষদের আয়োজনে একটি তথ্য সেশন সফলভাবে সম্পন্ন করেছে। সেশনে অংশ নেন ৭০ জনেরও বেশি আগ্রহী স্নাতক ও স্নাতকোত্তর শিক্ষার্থী, যারা যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে উচ্চশিক্ষা অর্জন সম্পর্কে জানতে আগ্রহী ছিলেন।
সেশনটি ঢাকা বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ের কম্পিউটার সায়েন্স অ্যান্ড ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের মিলনায়তনে অনুষ্ঠিত হয়। এখানে যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে ভর্তি প্রক্রিয়া, GRE, TOEFL, IELTS-এর মতো মানসম্মত পরীক্ষার কাঠামো ও উদ্দেশ্য, নিবন্ধন পদ্ধতি এবং প্রস্তুতি কৌশল নিয়ে আলোচনা করা হয়।
এছাড়াও, EducationUSA এর পরামর্শকরা “যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে উচ্চশিক্ষার পাঁচ ধাপ” (Your Five Steps to U.S. Study) বিষয়ক নির্দেশনা প্রদান করেন, যা আন্তর্জাতিক শিক্ষার্থীদের যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে উচ্চশিক্ষার পরিকল্পনায় সহায়ক একটি সমন্বিত কাঠামো।
EducationUSA হলো যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের পররাষ্ট্র দপ্তরের একটি নেটওয়ার্ক, যা ১৭৫টিরও বেশি দেশ ও অঞ্চলে ৪৩০টিরও বেশি আন্তর্জাতিক ছাত্র পরামর্শকেন্দ্র পরিচালনা করে। এই প্রোগ্রাম শিক্ষার্থীদের যুক্তরাষ্ট্রে পড়াশোনা সম্পর্কিত সঠিক, বিস্তৃত এবং হালনাগাদ তথ্য প্রদান করে থাকে।
আমেরিকান অ্যালামনাই অ্যাসোসিয়েশন (AAA) হলো বাংলাদেশে অবস্থিত যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের বিভিন্ন বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় থেকে ডিগ্রী প্রাপ্তদের একটি সংগঠন। এটি শিক্ষাগত ও পেশাগত বিনিময়কে উৎসাহিত করে এবং বাংলাদেশে মার্কিন স্নাতকদের মধ্যে ভ্রাতৃত্ব ও সংযোগ তৈরি করে।
