Objective:   Objective of Criticism is to make value judgments of work, to explain his or her interpretation on the work. The critic’s general purpose in most cases is to enrich the readers understanding of the literary work.

Course Description

 This course is designed to familiarize the students with the origin and very early developments of literature. It describes the flourishment, trends and descriptive issue of Urdu literature from its origin. It also highlights some prominent Literary works including Sab-Ras, Hedayat Namah, Kalimatul Haque.

Objectives

The prime objective of this course is to enlighten the students with earlier Urdu Literature. Besides this by the end of this course the students will be able to

1. Comprehend the background and graded development of Urdu Literature.

2. Acquire detailed knowledge about the Linguistic important of Urdu Language.

3. Take part in class, group or public discussion.

4. Show their proficiency in appropriate concerned field.

As a student of Urdu literature, Iqbal needs to know in detail. Iqbal's philosophy of Khudi, Bekhudi, qawmiyat, Marde Momin etc. Its gave him world fame.

Course Description:

This course has been designed to connect learners with the great poet of Urdu Literature who is Mirza Ghalib. Specially, it will be focus on Urdu Gazals of Mirza Ghalib. Beside this, Qasida & Letters of Mirza Ghalib have also been included.  By the end of the course, learners are expected to develop their concept according to a given story outline.

Objectives:

1. Students will learn about the life & literary contribution of Mirza Ghalib.

2.  They will learn about dewan of Mirza Ghalib.

3. They will able to understand Mirza Ghalib’s thought, Philosophy, Mysticism & Mordanism.

4. It may help them to make sharp their critical thinking skills.

Urdu literature is a world-class literature today. Urdu literature is discussed everywhere. A special group of those who have contributed to the advancement of Urdu literature is the Ulama of the subcontinent. One of them is Maulana Altaf Husain Hali. He has taken the place of readers by writing in harmony with contemporary times.

Mawlana Halli used to live in Sadasid. He was charming, gentle, passionate, patriotic, social reformer. Before him, his education and the pursuit of literature had nothing to do with the tyranny, fame, dignity of the world. He was one in words and deeds. His outlook was much improved. He always wrote with respect to the nation. So he was called a national poet.
