Dr. Shahin Khan joined as a lecturer at the Institute of Social Welfare and Research, University of Dhaka in July 2004. Prof. Khan pursued his advanced Masters degree in Globalisation and Development from the Institute of Development Policy and Management, University of Antwerp under Belgian government scholarship in 2010. He has been awarded Ph. D degree in 2013. Currently, he is serving as a Professor at the Institute of Social Welfare and Research, University of Dhaka. His areas of concentrations are research methodology, globalization, disaster management, social administration, crime and the like.
Prof. Shahin Khan has been serving as a Trustee at Atish Dipankar University of Science and Technology Trust since October 2011. He is also a member of Executive Committee of Social Welfare Alumni Association. Prof. Khan is a member of Dhaka College Alumni Association of 1993 batch. He has got about 50 research papers published in renowned peer reviewed journals. Professor Shahin Khan participated in many national and international seminars and workshops dealing with education and social issues. Dr. Khan is involved with many voluntary and social organizations.
