On the morning of June 5, 2024, the Bangladesh Young Leaders Delegation to China 2024 visited Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator Co., Ltd. and Shanghai Turbine Works Co., Ltd., both subsidiaries of Shanghai Electric Group.

At Shanghai Mitsubishi Elevator Co., Ltd., the delegation toured the Product Exhibition Hall, High-speed Elevator Test Tower, and workshop, observing at a close distance the remote monitoring system, mechanical system, and hoisting machine inside an elevator. They also experienced the “enjoyment of going up and down” by riding various elevators.

At Shanghai Turbine Works Co., Ltd., the delegation visited the Enterprise Culture Center, learning about the company’s intelligent manufacturing, intelligent management, intelligent operations & maintenance, as well as considerate care for its employees. The delegation also toured the turbine workshop and blade workshop, witnessing the production processes of turbines and blades. They were deeply impressed, expressing great admiration for China’s manufacturing and its smart industry.
