Confucius Institute at University of Dhaka Holds Opening Ceremony and China-Bangladesh Friendship Scholarship Awards达卡大学孔子学院举办2025年第三学期开学典礼暨“中孟友好奖学金”颁奖仪式
2025年10月26日下午，达卡大学孔子学院成功举办2025年第三学期开学典礼暨“中孟友好奖学金”颁奖仪式。达卡大学注册官孟什·沙姆斯·乌丁·艾哈迈德(Mr. Munshi Shams Uddin Ahmed)、达卡大学中文系教授阿弗扎尔·侯赛因（Prof. Md. Afzal Hossain）、乌东学校校长穆罕默德·阿里夫·拉赫曼(Mr. Muhammad Arifur Rahman)、实验中学校长贾米尔·乌丁(Mr. Md. Jamil Uddin)、孟加拉国华侨华人联合会副秘书长翁远琴女士、达卡孔院中方院长杨惠以及孔院教师、学生等200余人参加活动。新学期新征程，孔院师生们一同见证69名勤奋好学、积极进取的优秀学生获得由在孟中国企业家提供的“中孟友好奖学金”。
活动伊始，达卡孔院“山海中文合唱团”以一首中文歌曲《踏青》拉开了活动序幕。获奖学生代表习孝华分享了自己的学习心得与感受，他讲述从学习困难到热爱汉语的这一过程，不仅让他提升了个人能力，还更深刻理解了中国文化，他坚信汉语这门语言将成为连接中孟两国友谊的重要纽带。
开学典礼上，孔院对新同学的加入表示热烈欢迎，并对上学期表现优异的69名学生进行了表彰，其中一等奖获得者17人，二等奖获得者22人，三等奖获得者21人，全勤奖获得者9人。嘉宾们为获奖者颁发了获奖证书，孟华侨华人联合会秘书长翁远琴女士代表在孟中方爱心人士为获奖学生提供奖学金，以此鼓励全体同学在汉语学习的道路上精益求精、再进一步，争当中孟友好交流发展的坚实桥梁！
达卡大学注册官孟什先生、达卡大学中文系阿弗扎尔教授、乌东学校阿里夫·拉赫曼校长、实验中学贾米尔·乌丁校长、孟加拉国华侨华人联合会副秘书长翁远琴女士、达卡孔院中方院长杨惠博士分别致辞。他们表示，很高兴看到更多的同学们重视汉语、学习汉语。汉语不仅是世界上使用者最广的语言，其全球影响力也在日益扩大，学好汉语能为大家的职业发展和国际交流创造更多可能。期待大家借助汉语这扇窗口，读懂中国文化，在跨文化的碰撞与交融中开阔格局，当好中孟友好的民间传承人。
On October 26, 2025, the Confucius Institute at Dhaka University held its third-semester opening ceremony and China-Bangladesh Friendship scholarship awards. Over 200 attendees gathered for the event. A total of 69 students received the scholarships. Among them, 17 students received first prizes, 22 students received second prizes, 21 students received third prizes, and 9 students received full attendance awards. The scholarship is provided by Chinese entrepreneurs in Bangladesh.
Mr. Munshi Shams Uddin Ahmed, registrar of Dhaka University, Prof. MD.Afzal Hossain, head of the Department of Chinese Language and Culture, Mr. Muhammad Arifur Rahman, principal of Udayan Higher Secondary School, Md. Jamil Uddin, principal of University Laboratory School and College, Madam Weng Yuanqin, Deputy Secretary-General of the Overseas Chinese Association in Bangladesh, Dr. Yang hui, the Chinese director of Confucius Institute, delivered the speeches. They emphasized the value of Chinese learning and highlighted Chinese as a window to the world and a catalyst for China-Bangladesh cultural ties. They encouraged students to build bridges of friendship through language, fostering mutual understanding between the two peoples.
