I have had formal training in anthropology during the last part of the 20th century at the Department of Anthropology, University of Dhaka. This has opened a new window to look at the society and culture of Bangladesh while creating a fascination with the professionalization of Anthropology. What I have learned from Anthropology has remodeled my thinking towards every aspect of people and to work for development in action, both from academic and research perspectives.
