The Department of Management, Faculty of Business Studies, University of Dhaka recently hosted an inspiring workshop titled "Navigating Success: Career Pathways for Strategic & International Management (SIM) Professionals."
The event targeted the 25th batch of SIM students, who actively participated and enjoyed the engaging sessions.
Facilitated by Mohammad Asaduzzaman, CEO of Xcode Corporation, the workshop provided insightful discussions on the importance of adaptability and strategic thinking in today's competitive business landscape. Asaduzzaman shared his extensive experience, emphasizing the value of effective leadership and collaboration.
Joining him was Mohammad Al-Amran, Lead Consultant at Xcode Corporation, who offered valuable leadership techniques and practical applications for real-world scenarios. Participants appreciated Al-Amran's insights into power optimization and risk management.
Feedback from the students highlighted their enjoyment and the practicality of the knowledge gained, encouraging continued engagement in their professional development journeys.
Looking ahead, the Department announced three topics for SIM workshops:
- ISO Ramble in 180 Minutes on January 22, 2025: An interactive session focused on solving real-world problems using ISO standards.
- Lean Six Sigma on January 29, 2025: This workshop will explore methodologies to enhance efficiency and quality in organizations.
- Leed Certification on February 5, 2025: Aimed at promoting sustainable practices in construction and project management.
The workshop not only enriched the 25th batch of SIM students with essential skills but also reaffirmed the University of Dhaka’s commitment to nurturing future leaders in Strategic and International Management.
