The Career Placement Center of the Department of Management successfully organized a workshop on “Career Opportunities in the Apparel Manufacturing Industry” on 28 April 2026 at the Prof. Dr. Abdullah Faruq Conference Hall.
The workshop was graced by distinguished industry leaders and academics. Mohammed Showket Iqbal, General Manager (HR), Epyllion Group, attended as the Guest of Honor. Dr. Mohammad Thoufiqul Islam, Professor and Chairman, was present as the Special Guest. The keynote session was delivered by Saifuddin Ahmed Tusar, Assistant General Manager (HR), Epyllion Group. The session was coordinated by Dr. Nadia Ahmed, Assistant Professor, Department of Management.
The workshop served as a valuable platform for students to gain practical insights into the apparel manufacturing industry, one of the key drivers of Bangladesh’s economy. The speakers shared their expertise on career pathways, required skill sets, industry expectations, and emerging opportunities in the sector.
Participants had the opportunity to engage in interactive discussions, enhancing their understanding of real-world challenges and professional growth prospects within the apparel industry.
