13 April, 2025: On 13th April 2025, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering (CSE) at the University of Dhaka hosted its Cultural Program and Annual Prize Giving Ceremony. Annual Prize Giving Ceremony
Awards were presented to the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners, along with best performers from the 27th, 28th, 29th, and 30th batches. In addition to recognizing top individual and team achievements, a special award was conferred upon the Best Female Participant, underscoring the department’s commitment to inclusivity and excellence in competitive cybersecurity.
Freshers’ Week 2024 featured a diverse array of competitions, including Table Tennis, Carrom, Skribbl, Chess, Dart, Ludo, FIFA, 29 Cards, Meme and Photography contests, Quiz, Typeracer, Integration Bee, and more—highlighting the vibrant and multifaceted talents of the students.
Faculty Participation
The event was graced by the presence of Professor Dr. Upama Kabir, Dean of the Faculty of Science, and Professor Dr. Chowdhury Farhan Ahmed, Acting Chairman of the CSE Department, along with other esteemed faculty members such as Professor Dr. Md.
