Bridging Academia & Industry: A New Era for Finance Students!
We are thrilled to announce a groundbreaking collaboration between the Department of Finance, University of Dhaka, and LankaBangla Securities PLC! Today marked a significant milestone as top leadership from LankaBangla Securities, led by Mr. Khandoker Saffat Reza (CEO & Director), visited our department and joined a meeting with Prof. Dr. H. M. Mosarof Hossain (Chairman, Department of Finance) to finalize the proposal on launching STOCK TRADING SIMULATION PLATFORM for our students.
This innovative initiative will provide BBA students enrolled in the F-407 Portfolio Management course access to LankaBangla’s trading platform, offering a real-time trading environment mirroring actual market dynamics. Students will gain hands-on experience in trade execution, risk management, and market analysis—equipping them with practical skills crucial for thriving in the financial sector.
