A new trust fund titled “Prof. Kazemuddin Ahmed and Dr. Saaduddin Md. Mamoon Trust Fund” has been set up at the University of Dhaka (DU). Dr. Lala Rukh Selim, Professor of DU Sculpture Department and grand-daughter of late Prof. Kazemuddin Ahmed handed over a cheque for Tk. 10 lac to DU Treasurer Prof. Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin on April 11, 2018 at the Vice-Chancellor’s office to set up this trust fund. Dr. Saaduddin Md. Mamoon, son of late Prof. Kazemuddin Ahmed has donated this money.

Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman, Acting Registrar Md. Enamuzzaman, donor’s relatives Khaled Zaman and Malka Shamrose were present on this occasion.

Out of the income of this donation, every year some physically challenged students of different departments of DU will be given scholarship.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman thanked the donor for this donation. He also hoped that the physically challenged students would be highly benefited by this trust fund.
