A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between Dhaka University (DU) and Globe Biotech Ltd. was signed today September 05, 2022 at the VC’s lounge of DU to foster collaborative research between these two institutions. Treasurer of DU Prof. Mamtaz Uddin Ahmed and Chairman of Globe Biotech Ltd. Md. Harunur Rashid signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institution.

Dean of the Faculty of Pharmacy of DU Prof. Dr. Sitesh Chandra Bachar, Secretary of Dhaka University Teachers Association Prof Dr. Md. Nizamul Hoque Buiyan, Registrar Probir Kumar Sarker, Chairmen of different departments under the Faculty of Pharmacy and some other researchers from Globe Biotech Ltd. were present on this occasion.

According to the MoU, Dhaka University and Globe Biotech Ltd. will jointly work for innovation of various vaccines and medicines. These two institutions will also jointly conduct advanced level research in this regard.
