MoU between DU and THM University of Applied Sciences, Germany signed

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) between the University of Dhaka (DU) and THM University of Applied Sciences, Germany was signed today September 14, 2022. Vice-Chancellor of DU Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman and President of THM University of Applied Sciences Prof. Dr. Matthias Willems signed the MoU on behalf of their respective university.

According to the MoU, Dhaka University and THM University of Applied Sciences will undertake joint collaborative academic and research programs in the fields of applied sciences and engineering including electrical & electronic engineering, applied chemistry & chemical engineering, computer science & engineering, robotics & mechatronics engineering and nuclear engineering. The two universities will also exchange teachers, students and researchers. Besides, the students and faculty members of these two universities will enjoy facilities for conducting research activities including M.Phil and Ph.D degrees under the joint supervision of DU and THM University of Applied Sciences. The two institutions will also jointly organize seminar, symposium, workshop, conference and training program.
