Excellence in Teaching-Learning (ETL), IQAC, University of Dhaka organized a workshop amongst the teachers on “Curriculum Development” at Dr. Shadat Ali Conference Room (Training Room-03) Institute of Education and Research (IER), University of Dhaka on the 25th August, 2022.
Professor Dr. A.T.M. Shamsuzzoha (Additional Director, ETL, IQAC-DU) presided over the Workshop and spoke on “Assessments and Future Directions” in the session. Professor Dr. Syed Shahrier Rahman (Additional Director, ETL, IQAC-DU) anchored the noted workshop and spoke on “Faculty Guidelines & Curriculum Development: Faculty of Arts & relevant Institutions”.
In the session Dr. Md. Abdul Halim (Professor & Director, Institute of Education and Research, University of Dhaka), Dr. Md. Ziaur Rahman (Dean, Faculty of Social Science & Professor, Dept. Of Criminology, University of Dhaka), Dr. Muhammed Mahbubur Rahaman (Professor, Institute of Education and Research, University of Dhaka) and Dr. Md. Khairul Islam (Professor, Institute of Education and Research, University of Dhaka) spoke on “The evolution of Curriculum Development and preparing for future higher education”, “Faculty Guidelines & Curriculum Development: Faculty of Social Sciences & relevant Institutions” and, “Hands on Training and overall aspects of Curriculum Development” respectively.
It may be mentioned that According to the direction of UGC and approved by DU Syndicate Centre of Excellence in Teaching & Learning (CoETL) starting as the Excellence in Teaching-Learning (ETL), IQAC, University of Dhaka organized a workshop on “Curriculum Development” for the first time. It also be mentioned that ETL, Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC) will organize series of workshops, special Talks successfully throughout the year on a regular basis for the faculty (teachers) and officers of the University of Dhaka for achieving Quality Higher Education.
