Two meritorious students of the Department of Biomedical Physics & Technology of Dhaka University (DU) have been awarded “Khondkar Lutfi Rabbani-Nazmunnesa Memorial Scholarship” for their outstanding academic results in MS examinations. Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman distributed scholarships among the students as chief guest at a function on October 21, 2018 at the VC’s lounge of the university.

Treasurer of DU Prof. Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin presided over the function while Chairman of the Department of Biomedical Physics & Technology M Abdul Kadir, one of the donors of the trust fund Prof. Dr. Khondkar Siddique-e-Rabbani and some other family members were present, among others, on this occasion.

Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman urged the students to equip themselves with moral values to make Bangladesh a prosperous country.  He paid his glowing tribute to the memories of late Khondkar Lutfi Rabbani and late Nazmunnesa.

The recipients of scholarships are- Anila Pasha and Tabinda Basharat.
