A new trust fund titled “Hossain Ali Sarker-Julekha Khatun Trust Fund” has been set up at Dhaka University (DU). Ms. Sadia Rahman handed over a cheque for Tk. 10 lac to DU Treasurer Prof. Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin today April 18, 2017 at the Vice-Chancellor’s office to set up this trust fund.

Vice-Chancellor of Dhaka University Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique, Acting Registrar Md. Enamuzzaman and family members of donor Nasir Mahmud and Mrs. Nurun Nahar Rahman were present on this occasion.

Out of the income of this donation, every year two poor and meritorious students under the Faculties of Biological Science and Pharmacy of Dhaka University will be given scholarship or award.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. Arefin Siddique thanked the donor and her family members to set up this trust fund.
