Secretary General of Parliamentary Assembly of the Black Sea Economic Cooperation (PABSEC) Asaf Hajiyev called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today, April 02, 2017 at the latter’s office of the university. He was accompanied by Emeliaror Mikhail.

Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies of DU Prof. Shibli Rubayat-Ul-Islam and Provost of Haji Muhammad Mohsin Hall Prof. Dr. Nizamul Hoque Bhuiyan were present, among others, on this occasion.

            During the meeting they discussed various issues including education system and socio-economic development in Bangladesh. They also exchanged views  regarding  promotion of   academic and cultural relationship among the University of Dhaka and the universities of Black Sea region. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique apprised the guest of a brief history of Dhaka University as well as Bangladesh.
