A four-member delegation led by Leo Zhuang, President of Overseas Chinese Association in Bangladesh and Managing Director of Liz Fashion Industry Ltd. Dhaka called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today March 13, 2017 at the latter’s office of the university. Other team members were Director of Confucius Institute of DU Dr. Zhou Mingdong, Robin He and Olivia Qu.

          During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest specially the possibilities of signing a MoU between DU and Overseas Chinese Association in Bangladesh. Objectives of this MoU will be to create job opportunities for DU graduates at Liz Fashion Industry Ltd. Dhaka. Mr. Leo Zhuang informed DU VC that his garments industry has been contributing to both Bangladesh and Chinese economy for long 20 years. DU VC Prof. Arefin Siddique said, we like to enhance and intensify all sorts of cooperation including economic, academic and cultural ones with China.

          Vice-Chancellor Prof. Arefin Siddique thanked the guests for their visit to Dhaka University and keen interest in establishing collaboration program with DU.
