Prof. Rozilini M Fernandez-Chung of the School of Education of the University of Nottingham, UK and Koen Geven, Education Specialist of the World Bank paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today, March 12, 2017 at the latter’s office of the university.

        Head of Quality Assurance Unit of the University Grants Commission (UGC) Prof. Dr. Mesbahuddin Ahmed, Quality Assurance Specialist Prof. Dr. Sonjoy Kumar Adhikary, Director of Institutional Quality Assurance Cell (IQAC-DU) Prof. Dr. Sheikh Shamimul Alam and Additional Director of IQAC  Prof. Dr. Md. Rahmat Ullah were present on this occasion.

During the meeting they stressed the need for enhancement of the quality of higher education. Arrangement of professional training programs  on quality education were also discussed in the meeting.
