Secretary General of Association of Commonwealth Universities (ACU) Prof. Dr. John Wood called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today, March 8, 2017 at the latter’s office of the university.

            Vice-Chancellor of World University Prof. Abdul Mannan Choudhury,  Pro-Vice Chancellor of the same university Prof. M Nurul Islam and Treasurer Morsheda Choudhury and Professor of DU Management Department Dr. Mushfiq Mannan Choudhury were present on this occasion.

            During the meeting they discussed about development of education system in Bangladesh. Vice-Chancellor Prof. Arefin Siddique sought cooperation from ACU Secretary General to increase the number of Commonwealth scholarships for DU students. The ACU Secretary General assured the VC of providing all possible cooperation in this regard.

            It may be mentioned that ACU Secretary General now on a visit to Bangladesh to attend the 4^th Convocation of World University as a convocation speaker.
