A three-member delegation led by Dr. Volker Heinz, Director and CEO of the German Institute of Food Technologies (DIL) called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today March 08, 2017 at the latter’s office of the university. Other team members were Dr. Christian Kircher and Dr. Stefan B. Irmscher of the same institute. The Vice-Chancellor of German University Bangladesh (GUB) Prof. Ing. Saifullah Khandker was present on this occasion.        

          During the meeting they discussed various issues including the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs on nutrition and food science by the University of Dhaka and the German Institute of Food Technologies (DIL). They agreed to sign a MoU in this regard soon.
