A new Virtual Class Room will be set up at the Faculty of Business Studies of Dhaka University (DU) soon with the financial assistance from Bank Asia. President & Managing Director of Bank Asia Md. Mehmood Husain handed over a cheque for Taka 30 (Thirty) lac to the Dean of the Faculty of Business Studies of DU Prof. Shibli Rubayat- Ul- Islam today June 2, 2016 at Dr. Abdullah Farouk Conference Hall to set up this virtual class room.

DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique and Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Dr. Shahid Akhtar Hossain were present on this occasion.

DU Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique thanked the Bank Asia authorities for this donation. He hoped that the virtual class room would play an effective role to strengthen academic relationship among the University of Dhaka and other renowned universities in the world. The VC also called upon the teachers, students and researchers to utilize IT facilities properly for upgrading the quality of education and research.
