An eight-member scientific team led by Prof. Dr. Parul Chakrabarti, Director of Bose Institute of Kolkata, India called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today March 15, 2016 at the latter’s office of the university. Other team members were Prof. Partha Majumder, Prof. Dr. Bikas K. Chakrabarti, Prof. Amita Majumder, Dr. Indrani Bose, Geeta Talukder and Kaberi Chakrabarti.

Director of DU Bose Centre for Advanced Study and Research in Natural Sciences Prof. Shamima Choudhury and Coordinator of J.C. Bose Trust Bangladesh Dr. Ferdousi Begum were present on this occasion.

During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs regarding scientific works of renowned Scientists S.N. Bose and J.C. Bose between Dhaka University and higher educational institutions in India.
