Senior Counselor of the International Friendship Exchange Council (FEC), Japan Prof. Dr. Pema Gyalpo called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today, March 06, 2016 at the latter’s office of the university.

During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs by the University of Dhaka and the International Friendship Exchange Council, Japan. Exchange of teachers, students, researchers, intellectuals and professionals between Bangladesh and Japan were also discussed in the meeting. The delegate expressed his willingness to provide more scholarships to DU students for higher study in Japan.

Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique thanked the guest for his visit to Dhaka University and keen interest in its academic activities.
