A Protocol Agreement between Dhaka University (DU) and Primark Better Lives Foundation, UK was signed today March 1, 2016 at the VC’s lounge of the university. Treasurer of DU Prof. Dr. Md. Kamal Uddin and Ethical Trade Director of Primark Better Lives Foundation,UK Katharine Stewart   signed the MoU on behalf of their respective institution.   

Vice-Chancellor of DU Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique, Director of  the Institute of Disaster Management &Vulnerability Studies Prof. Dr. Mahbuba Nasreen and other faculties were present  on this occasion.

According to the Agreement, Primark Better Lives Foundation, UK will provide financial assistance  and technical support to Dhaka University authorities for construction of a fifth floor extension on the north west side of the arts building of the university. The Institute of Disaster Management &Vulnerability Studies of DU will get opportunity to use this extension part as its office.
