A three-member delegation led by Dr. Tsuneo Nakajima, Founder of the Tokyo University and Graduate School of Social Welfare, Japan called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today, January 21, 2016 at the latter’s office of the university. Other members of the delegation were Makoto Terada and Toshihiko Seto.
Assistant Professor of the Institute of Modern Languages (IML) of DU Dr. Mohammad Ansarul Alam was present on this occasion.
During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs on language and social welfare subjects by the University of Dhaka and Tokyo University, Japan. The delegation members expressed their willingness to provide more facilities to DU students for higher study in Japan. They have agreed to sign a MoU in this regard soon.
Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique thanked the guests for their visit to Dhaka University and keen interest in its academic activities.
