South Korean Ambassador in Bangladesh AHN Seong-doo called on Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today December 15, 2015 at the latter’s office of the university. First Secretary of the same Embassy Park Mi Seol and Administrative Assistant Kim Jeong Ki were present on this occasion.

During the meeting they discussed various bi-lateral issues including development of academic and cultural relationship between Bangladesh and Korea. They also discussed the possibilities of introducing Under Graduate Course on Korean Language at the Institution of Modern Languages (IML) of DU.

Later, Korean Ambassador handed over some Text Books, DVD and CD on Korean Language and Literature to Dhaka University Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique for the students of Korean Language of IML. The Vice-Chancellor thanked the Ambassador for providing academic equipments to DU. He also hoped that the students of Korean Language Course of IML would be benefited from this donation.
