A three-member team led by Prof. Thorsten Benter of Wuppertal University, Germany called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today November 26, 2015 at the latter’s office of the university. Other team members were Dr. Ralf Kurtenbach and Dr. Hendrik Kersten.

Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) of DU Prof. Dr. Shahid Akhtar Hossian, Director of CARS Prof. Dr. Altaf Hussain and Associate Professor Dr. Md. Mominul Islam were present on this occasion.

During the meeting they discussed various issues including development of Air Quality Monitoring Centre at Dhaka University. The possibilities of strengthening on-going joint collaborative academic and research programs conducted by the University of Dhaka and Wuppertal University, Germany were also discussed in the meeting.
