UNAIDS Country Director in Bangladesh Mr. Leo Kenny called on Dhaka University (DU) Vice-Chancellor Prof. Dr. AAMS Arefin Siddique today, November 2, 2015 at the latter’s office of the university. He was accompanied by its Monitoring & Evaluation Officer Pamela Kechter. 

During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest specially the development of health education in Bangladesh. The 12th International Congress on AIDS in Asia and the Pacific (ICAAP12) will be held on 20-23 November, 2015 in Dhaka, UNAIDS Country Director informed the DU VC. The UNAIDS delegate sought help and cooperation from Dhaka University authorities to organize this congress successfully. The DU VC assured the guests of providing all possible support and cooperation in this regard.
