On March 18, 2024, the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at the University of Dhaka welcomed esteemed educators and students to an engaging workshop titled "Stimuli and Principles for a Good Informatics Education at School and University." The session was presided over by Professor Dr. Md. Abdur Razzaque, the Department's Chairman.

The event's keynote speaker was the acclaimed Professor Dr. Gerald Futschek, a retired educator from the Vienna University of Technology (TU Wien). Professor Futschek brought to the fore his extensive knowledge and experience, offering attendees a comprehensive view of how to effectively integrate practical and stimulating elements into informatics education.

Opening the workshop, Professor Dr. Mohammad Kaykobad, a distinguished professor at BRAC University and a former professor at BUET, gracefully acknowledged the audience and initiated the proceedings by introducing the theme of the day.
