Vice President of KOC University, Turkey Prof. Dr. Hakan Urey called on Dhaka University (DU) Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Dr. Sayema Haque Bidisha today February 27, 2025 at VC’s Meeting Room of the university.

Treasurer of DU Prof. Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury, Dean of the Faculty of Earth and Environmental Sciences Prof. Dr. Kazi Matin Uddin Ahmed and Dean of the Faculty of Engineering and Technology Prof. Dr. Upama Kabir were present on this occasion.

During the meeting they discussed matters of mutual interest specially the possibilities of undertaking joint collaborative academic and research programs on engineering and technology between Dhaka University and KOC University, Turkey. They also discussed about exchange of faculties, researchers and students between the two universities. Arranging online seminar under the joint auspices of Dhaka University and KOC University was also discussed in the meeting.

Turkish Prof. Dr. Hakan Urey expressed his willingness to provide opportunities for DU students for higher study in KOC University.

 Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Dr. Sayema Haque Bidisha thanked the guest for his visit to Dhaka University and keen interest in its academic and research activities.
