British Council Country Director Mr. Stephen Forbes called on Dhaka University (DU) Treasurer Prof. Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury today April 22, 2026 at the latters office of the university. He was accompanied by Head of Education Mr. Toufiq Hasan, Head of Operation & Security Mr. Noor Rasel and Facilities Operation Manager Mr. Farhadul Azim.

During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of strengthening academic collaboration between the University of Dhaka and the British Council. Arranging training programs for DU teachers and students under the joint auspices of Dhaka University and British Council was also discussed in the meeting.
