Three students from the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) of Dhaka University presented four research papers at the 10th IEEE Electron Devices Technology and Manufacturing Conference in Penang, Malaysia recently. Representing the University of Dhaka, students Afsana Anjum Akhi, Nazmul Hasan Naime and Pinok Chowdhury Manik delivered their research papers under the guidance of Associate Professor of Electrical and Electronic Engineering Department Dr. Mainul Hossain.
Their work focused on: Organic FET-based ammonia sensing, Negative capacitance CFETs for ultra-scaled logic applications, Memristor I–V characteristics with cycle-to-cycle variability analysis and Negative capacitance organic electrochemical transistors for high-sensitivity pH sensing.
It may be mentioned that, IEEE Electron Devices Society organized this conference. More than 700 researchers, academicians and industry professionals from 23 countries participated in the conference.
Global semiconductor companies such as Intel, GlobalFoundries, TSMC, Samsung, and Micron also presented research papers in the conference.
Besides, representatives from renowned institutions including the University of Cambridge, Georgia Institute of Technology, Tsinghua University, Peking University, the Indian Institute of Science (IISc), the IITs, and the National University of Singapore presented their research papers in this conference.
