Khonika Gope is currently pursuing her PhD from Stanford University. She is a final year student at the Stanford Technology Ventures Program (STVP) in the department of Management Science & Engineering. Broadly, her research interests focus on strategy and entrepreneurship. Particularly, she is interested in exploring the impact of institutions on entrepreneurship and innovation. Prior to joining Stanford, Khonika received her MBA from Goizueta Business School, Emory University, as a Fulbright Scholar. She received her MBA from IBA and BS in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering and Technology. Khonika has received numerous pestigeous awards and scholarships, such as Fulbright Scholarship, Lieberman Fellowship, Stanford Centennial Teaching Assistant Award, Stanford Institute for Innovation in Developing Economies (SEED) Ph.D. I-Award, Stanford Center for South Asia (CSA) Fellowship, Stanford King Center on Global Development Student Fellowship, Mckenzie Fellowship and Heitz Fellowship among others.
