Short Biography:

Fariha Kadir is a Lecturer of Health Economics at University of Dhaka since January 2021. She has completed her MSS and BSS in Health Economics from the University of Dhaka. She is currently teaching International Economics at undergraduate level. Besides, Fariha worked on projects funded by GoB, UNICEF, SNV Netherlands Development Organisation, Bill & Melinda Gates Foundation, ThinkWell LLC Bangladesh etc. Earlier she worked as a Research Associate at IHE. Her research is focused on issues of health economics, health insurance, health equity, healthcare seeking behavior and feasibility of health care projects/programs.
