Tahmina Yesmin Shova is currently pursuing her Ph.D. degree at the University of Sheffield, United Kingdom. She joined as a faculty in the Department of Philosophy in 2011. She earned her Master of Arts degree in Applied Ethics from the Linköping University of Sweden in 2017. She completed her graduate and post-graduate degrees from the department of philosophy, the University of Dhaka in 2005 and 2006 respectively. She is associated with the Bangladesh Philosophical Society (BPS), Alumni Association of Linköping University (LIU), Dhaka University Alumni Association (DUAA), Asiatic Society of Bangladesh (ASB), and Alumni Association of Philosophy Department (AAPD).
Her main research interests have mainly involved the issues of Social and Political Philosophy and Applied Philosophy. Focusing on different domains of liberal political theories, she is continuing with her study on multiculturalism, citizenship, human rights, public policy, good governance, and justice.Read less
