Short Biography:

I am currently working as Professor at the Department of Sociology, University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. I received my MSc and PhD from the School of Environment, Resources and Development, Asian Institute of Technology (AIT), Bangkok, Thailand. My teaching and research area includes social structure, social problems, urban environment and urban land management. I have more than 22 peer-reviewed publications in international journals.
