I am a PhD graduate in Soil microbiology and Chemistry from the Institute for Global Food Safety, Queen's University Belfast. My research was related to ‘the study of the rice microbiome’ particularly observing ‘the effect of different fertilisers on the chemical and molecular transformation of arsenic and on the diversity and abundance of 16S rRNA bacteria and ITS1 fungi in rice microbiome’. I am inquisitive, meticulous, with numerous transferrable skills like- practical experience in planning, optimization and executing microcosm experiment with risk assessments and related safety protocols. Additional skills involve processing and analysing samples and different chemical and molecular techniques with accurate interpretation of data, detail statistical analysis and presentation of research results. I have a good understanding and capability to work within a team, among groups or independently with self-confidence. My focus is to build a career as a ‘Teacher and Research Scientist’ close to my expertise in Soil Microbiology.Read less
