The reception program for students admitted to the undergraduate program of the Department of Sociology for the 2025–26 academic session was held
On Monday, April 13, 2026, the Department of Sociology, University of Dhaka, organized a vibrant orientation program to welcome the students of the 1st Year (20th Batch) of the 2025-26 academic session.
The program was graced by the presence of Professor Dr. Fatema Rezina Iqbal, Acting Chairperson of the Department. Distinguished faculty members also joined the session to inspire the newcomers.
The respected teachers shared valuable guidance and insights, encouraging students to strive for academic excellence and social responsibility. The event concluded with an inspiring closing speech by the Chairperson, Dr. Fatema Rezina Iqbal.
