Shuvo Rafiqul (b. 1982) is a Bangladeshi artist living in Vienna. He completed his Master of Fine Art degree from the Department of Sculpture, Faculty of Fine Art, University of Dhaka in 2012. He also studied at the Department of Fine Arts at Beaconhouse National University in Lahore from 2007 to 2008. He is currently enrolled in a drawing class at the Academy of Fine Arts in Vienna.
In 2020 he won the first prize at STRABAG Art award International. He did ARTIST IN RESIDENCE at Krinzinger Projekte in 2016 (Vienna) and 2018 (Hungary). So far, he has had three solo exhibitions and has participated in numerous international group exhibitions including THE CULTURE COLLIDER: POST-EXOTIC ART, Manggha Museum, Kraków (PL), SPEAK, LOKAL, Kunsthalle Zürich, Zurich (SWI), 11th SHANGHAI BIENNALE, Shanghai (CN). He also exhibited his work at international art fairs such as Art Basel, Frieze London, Art Dubai. Vienna-based gallery GALERIE KRINZINGER represents his work.
