A seminar titled “Spivak’s Deconstruction of Western Epistemology: Reframing the Native Informants” was held on 14 October 2025 at 4:00 PM in Room 208 of the Arts Building, University of Dhaka, organized by the Dev Centre for Philosophical Studies. The keynote paper was presented by Dr. Tahmina Yasmin, Associate Professor, Department of Philosophy, University of Dhaka. Dr. Lipon Mondal, Associate Professor, Department of Sociology, University of Dhaka, served as the discussant. The session was presided over by Professor Md. Nuruzzaman, Chairman, Department of Philosophy, University of Dhaka. Professor Dr. Shah Kawther Mustafa Abul Ulayee, former Director of the Dev Centre for Philosophical Studies, participated in the discussion on the presented topic. The event was moderated by Professor Dr. Jasim Uddin, Director, Dev Centre for Philosophical Studies, University of Dhaka.
