We are happy to extend our warmest invitation to you for an upcoming colloquium organized by the Department of Criminology at the University of Dhaka. The event is titled "Importance of Medical Examination and Documentation in Criminal Investigation". The colloquium aims to delve into the various aspects of criminal investigation, with a particular focus on the significance of medical examination and documentation in the investigative process. It will feature insightful talks and discussions that shed light on this critical aspect of criminology and forensic science.
We would be honoured to have Dr. Zia Rahman, Dean of the Faculty of Social Sciences at the University of Dhaka, as the chief guest. Dr. Rahman also currently serves as an honourable member of the board of directors at the International Society of Criminology. Furthermore, he is the Professor and the founding Chairperson of the Department of Criminology at the University of Dhaka.
We will be privileged to have Dr. P M Bhujang, President Emeritus of the Association of Hospitals, India, and visiting faculty at the Tata Institute of Social Sciences, Mumbai, India, as our esteemed colloquium speaker. Dr. Bhujang's extensive expertise and experience in the field of medical examination will undoubtedly provide valuable insights into the topic.
Additionally, we are delighted to announce the presence of A K M Nahidul Islam, BPM, DIG (Forensic), Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Bangladesh Police, Bangladesh, who will be present as the distinguished discussant. Mr. Islam's profound knowledge and expertise in the forensic arena will add depth and perspective to our discussions.
