A Stakeholder Consultation Workshop on ‘Shrimp Health Management’ will be held on 11th May 2024 at the Auditorium of Bangladesh Fisheries Research Institute (BFRI), Brackishwater Station (BS), Paikgacha, Khulna. This workshop will be organized by Aquatic Animal Health Group, Department of Fisheries, University of Dhaka and funded by BAS-USDA Endowment Program (5th Phase BAS-USDA DU FI - 25).

The Principal Investigator of the Project, Professor Dr. Mohammad Shamsur Rahman, Department of Fisheries, University of Dhaka will share the aims and objectives of the project with the stakeholders.

The faculty members and students affiliated with Aquatic Animal Health Group will participate in this workshop to interact with different stakeholders. Representatives of DoF, BFRI, GO's, NGO's and different shrimp farmers in Khulna, Satkhira and Bagerhat districts will be present in the workshop and they will participate in an open discussion and give their valuable feedback on ‘Shrimp Health Management’.
