A 3-member delegation led by Mr. Komori Takashi, Senior Representative of Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA), Bangladesh called on Dhaka University (DU) Treasurer Prof. Dr. M. Jahangir Alam Chowdhury today, October 31, 2024 at the latter’s office of the university. Other team members were Ms. Iha Chinatsu and Mr. Alimul Hasan.

Convener of DU Provost Standing Committee Dr. Abdullah-Al-Mamun was present on this occasion.

During the meeting they discussed the possibilities of undertaking various development projects including the construction of a hall for female students at Dhaka University with the financial support from JICA. The possibilities of undertaking skills development and capacity building programs at DU were also discussed in the meeting.
