A 13-member delegation led by Prof. Santiago Fernandez Mosquera, Inditex Chair of Spanish Language and Culture of Spain paid a courtesy call on Dhaka University (DU) Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Dr. Sayema Haque Bidisha today February 18, 2025 at the latter’s office of the university. Spanish Visiting Professor at DU Ms. Maria Amparo Porta Rivas was present on this occasion.

During the meeting they stressed the need for strengthening joint collaborative academic, research and cultural exchange programs being conducted by the University of Dhaka and various universities in Spain.

Pro-Vice Chancellor (Administration) Prof. Dr. Sayema Haque Bidisha emphasized on strengthening joint collaborative academic and research program on language and culture to enhance friendly ties among the people of the two countries. She also underscored on sharing knowledge among teachers and researchers of Dhaka University and different Spanish universities.
