Breaking barriers with brilliant visuals! Congratulating our students for their outstanding achievement in the Poster Presentation Competition
This is thrilling to share that our students have once again demonstrated their exceptional abilities and dedication to academic excellence by excelling in the recent Research Poster Presentation Competition. The team of Faozia Anzum Itu, Sumia Akter & Md. Saiful Islam from BS - 3rd Year, The Department of Meteorology emerged as winning 2nd Runners-Up spot out of more than 20 selected presentations from different Universities of Bangladesh at the prestigious competition for the International Day for Disaster Risk Reduction, themed "Fighting inequality for a Resilient Future" jointly organized by the Disaster Research Training and Management Center (DRTMC) and the Department of Geography and Environment at the University of Dhaka on October 16, 2023.
The then Vice Chancellor of University of Dhaka Prof. Dr. Md. Akhtaruzzaman inaugurated the event taking out a rally and the then Pro V.C (Education) Prof. Dr. ASM Maksud Kamal graced the event as Chief guest. A seminar was presided over by Prof. Dr. Md. Shahidul Islam, the director of DRTMC with the active participation of prominent academics and scholarly teachers.
