Duration: The duration of the MPhil Program is generally 2 years (1st year Theory & 2nd year Thesis). But the duration of the registration will be 4 years.
Admission Requirements:

Four years Honours and 1 year Masters Or Three years Honours and 1 year Masters Or Two years Honours and Two years Masters (with 1 year teaching/ research experience and 1 publication in standard journal)

Applicant must have minimum 2nd Class/Division/50% Marks. In case of CGPA 3.00 out of 4.00 and 3.5 out of 5.00. |
|
Job holders (Except the Dhaka University Faculty) should take 1 year formal leave from their job before enrollment. |
Credit: An M.Phil student is required to choose two courses (3 +3= 6 Credit) and to attend a Viva Voce (2 Credit) and have to complete 9 Credit Thesis. Total Credit in M.Phil is 18.
Final Degree Eligibility: The duration of the MPhil Program is generally 2 years (1st year Theory & 2nd year Thesis). If any student cannot pass or complete for first time then He/ She will only get another (with approval of the supervisor and academic committee) chance for readmission.
