The Department of Theatre and Performance Studies at the University of Dhaka has always welcomed and encouraged academic collaboration with Theatre, Dramatic Theory, and Performance Studies departments at both public and private universities across Bangladesh and overseas
We are delighted to learn that the Department of Theatre at the University of Rajshahi has included Asheshkrittya (অশেষকৃত্য)—a play written by Dr. Shahman Moishan, playwright and Associate Professor of the Department of Theatre and Performance Studies, University of Dhaka—as part of its Acting Practical course curriculum, and has produced it as a theatre production.
The production has been directed by Professor Dr. Habib Zakaria Ullash of the Department of Theatre, University of Rajshahi, who also serves as the course instructor.
