The primary catalyst for boosting environmental awareness and prompting action is how we communicate about climate change. Digital art is one of many tools that can help us communicate about climate more effectively. Accordingly, this paper examines the role of digital art media as an instrument for climate communication and environmental awareness. The study investigates the characteristics of digital artworks produced in Bangladesh, their visual elements, thematic orientations, prioritized issues, and the aspects that remain overlooked. Since awareness-raising through art requires context-specific evidence, this study used two reliable evaluation methods based on climate communication theory, including qualitative survey-based data collection and Likert scale measurement based on Bandura's social cognitive theory, to determine whether digital art can truly raise environmental awareness. Fortunately, both assessments produced favorable results. Based on these findings, enabling governmental agencies, NGOs, and organizations working for environmental and climate communication to utilize digital art more strategically. Furthermore, the study interprets art and climate communication through three key theoretical frameworks, offering knowledge that could inform policy-making and encourage the effective integration of digital art into climate communication initiatives.
